This Discussion is for <blockquote>Overriding Emoticons</blockquote>

<blockquote>As per the documentation</blockquote>
By default, EasySocial comes with a default set of emoticons. You could override this by creating your own emoticons folder in your template override. It's really simple and only requires the 2 steps below:

<blockquote>Default Storage</blockquote>
The default storage path for emoticons are located in the following folder:

/media/com_easysocial/images/emoticons

<blockquote>Overriding Emoticons</blockquote>
To create a template override for emoticons, simply copy the folder above and place it in the following folder:

/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/

Replace the protostar template with your Joomla template that you are currently using.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

<blockquote>Question 1:</blockquote> Does this mean the folder path is like this: /templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/images/emoticons ????

or like this:

/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/emoticons

Also, the emoticons that I found in the emoticons folder are 16x16 pixels. Yet they appear to be displayed larger in the Share box emoticon area.

<blockquote>Question 2:</blockquote> Is there a way to make the emoticons larger in pixel size such as 20x20 pixels, or do they have to be 16x16?

<blockquote>Question 3:</blockquote> There are 16 emoticons - to replace them do they have to be named the same or can they have different names?

To override the text strings, I found the language strings in the language override area, so I know how to override the text strings. I will add a Lesson Guide when I learn more how to change the emoticons and everything.
