Different Workflows for the same Profile n Registration and Profile edit

For our site it would be very helpful to be able to implement a different ordering and also a different distribution on the steps of the fields during registration and in Profile-Editing .... is this possible somehow? Or could you implement this in the future?

The reason is, that we have necessary fields that have to be filled out by Users that registered vie Facebook, but still have to complete certain Site-Specific information. And I do not want to confuse them after registration via Facebook that they see pages where there is too much information we do not request from them ....
