We have 3 different blog categories.
* General
* Department A
* Department B
We have 3 different listing pages of blogs:
* Page 1 - Includes ALL categories (general, A, B) - EasyBlog >> (Posts) Featured Posts
* Page 2 - Includes just Dept A
* Page 3 - Includes just Dept B
When we click on any of the individual post links in Page 1 it is showing using the template for Dept A (no matter what the original category of the blog item). Originally (before EB 5) this was just displaying with the template from Page 1.
We have had the SETTINGS | SEO| ADVANCED set to:
* Routing behavior: Default
* Use Routing From: Category Menu
We've also set-up menu items (EasyBlog >> (Categories) Single Category) for each of the categories and assigned the proper template to them, but still it is always using the Page 2 template.
NOTE: When we go to Page 2, and click on a link there, it IS properly using the template for page 2 (Dept A). The same is true when clicking blogs from the list on Page 3 (it uses Page 3 / Dept B layout).
If it matters ... Page 1 is our main/home page, and that home page is in a HOLD/Hidden menu (and is the default page for the site).
As a temporary fix we've had to create a 'dummy' menu item within the HOLD/Hidden menu and then in the SEO | ADVANCED set Easyblog to Use Specified Menu ID and set it to the temporary/dummy menu.
Is there any use-case documentation to explain how to get the proper templates to be used for individual blog posts based on their category (or the referring page)?
Or do you have any idea what might be wrong with our configuration?
