Customizing EasyBlog Showcae Module

I'm trying to make the EasyBlog Showcase module. I can't figure out how to get it to stop clipping the menu item titles and I also need to editing the PHP to make the image display separate from the gallery body. I uploaded screenshots and the custom PHP I'm using.
