I'm working with the Acymailing Custom Field which puts a "YES / NO" newsletter subscription up.
It seems to be one directional only. I'll explain:
WORKING: If the EasySocial User edits their profile, the YES or NO selection will change the AcyMailing subscription status as it should.
NOT WORKING: If the EasySocial User changes their AcyMailing subscription status (or has it changed for them) outside of their EasySocial screen, this fact is not reflected when the person next edits their EasySocial profile.
This can easily lead to lots of confusion.
EXAMPLE: I sign up to my site via EasySocial registration and select YES to the AcyMailing Newsletter. Then after I while I get bored with the newsletter and click the "Unsubscribe" link in the AcyMailing Newsletter - it unsubscribes me... BUT if I go back to my EasySocial Edit Profile, it seems ES does no check of subscription status and it still says "YES"
Does that make sense?
