I have created a Group which I want to use as a Site Group for issues, suggestions, how to, announcements etc. Members will be auto assigned on joining.
I was trying to work out how to create some discussion boards inside the group but prevent other members be able to create new boards. I create a new category called sitename and used the ACL to creation actions to Group creator or Admins.
I couldnt really work out the best way to create static boards for Issues, Feature Requests, How Tos etc. but when I looked at the menu I saw 2 options for discussions & Easy Discuss.
How do I only have 1 option shown? ie Easy Discuss
Is it something to do with EasySocial using Easy Social COnversations? What happens when this is turned off? (photo)
I have Categories in there called Issues, Feature Requests Etc.
So I get users to use these ED categories to achieve limited discussion group.
Or is there a better way?
