Commenting issues after migration from 2.5 to 3

Hi there,

After migrating from 2.5 to 3 we have a number of commenting issues:

1. On the frontend, the guest enters a comment but it just turns and turns and gives no indication that the comment has been entered but awaiting moderation.

2. The comment does go through and send an email to an admin, but it does so multiple times. At least twice.

3. When moderating the comment, if one clicks the "unpublished icon" to published it doesn't publish it but rather will unpublish something else on the list of comments! Ugh.

4. If we then click on the title of the comment (which is no title because on the frontend they don't have to enter a title), it says the title is required but neither yes or no is selected on the toggle buttons for the status of the comment.

Multiple strange issues here.

Please test on this blog post which has not been sent to subscribers and hasn't been commented on my anyone except me and the site owner, Annie.

You will want to temporarily change the notifications from Annie to you so that you can see all these lovely notifications and what's happening.

Your help is appreciated. We are hoping to go live with it tomorrow (Tuesday PST). I wasn't expecting these bugs.

If you change anything in files please let me know so I can get copies of them and they don't get overridden in future updates. Same goes for any settings changed for testing that need to be changed back.

Thanks in advance for your brilliance.

Jenn :)
