com_easysocial/tmp folder

HI i created a user and completed the his profile

in the /media/com_easysocial/tmp i found the profile cover pictures of this new created user and other files

I'm very limed in size, is it ok to clean this folder regularly, or shell leave everything in it?
I have a program which can clean it every hour for example.

Please advise if it safe to clean the temp files from the media/com_easysocial/tmp/
