Code editor for video descriptions?

Hi Stackideas Team

I believe that this was a feature request back in the days when the voices section was up and running.
If I understand this correctly the editor for the video section is a WYSIWYG editor.
So if I want to add a link for example next video or previous video it will be stripped out.
If there was an option to switch to a code editor I could do stuff like this.

Any chance of having an option to insert code at some time in the future?
