Clearing / Truncating Points Annually

I want to clear the points history, so that the leaderboard is reset. I would like to do this annually, so that newer users have the ability to climb the ranks.

Before I truncate the Points table, I wanted to make sure that this wouldn't have any negative impacts elsewhere.
