Changing user's permalink in backend

I have switched of users changing their permalink themselves. Now I got a user who wanted to change his username. No problem so far, I did it as an admin in the backend. But now his permalink did not change. If I try to change his permalink in the backend, I get an error message about the captcha field, even if I activate it. Post to user is below.
