It seems that we cannot delete our own posts on Stackideas anymore. A few reasons I consider this an important issue:
1. If the connection on our devise has an issue and for some reason we need to refresh to get the page up, suddenly a double post may appear. Those of us paying attention will clear the duplicate post. I believe this is the number one reason for duplicate posts on the internet (aside from folks who do it intentionally).
2. Clearing clutter from our tickets is not only good for Stackideas for issues no longer relevant but also allows us to more easily find older tickets. I've become the opposite of a clutter king these days.
3. Sometimes we realize we've made a mistake with what we have written. I almost posted a proposal today about an ACL feature that technically didn't work when videos are disabled, however I realized that you guys actually did the right thing. My point is that had I submitted it and figured this out afterwards, there would have been no way for me to delete the post and you guys would have had to investigate something that was actually right all along.

This wouldn't be the first time I've caught myself. In the past I was able to delete posts before you guys got to it which would spare you guys extra work.
Another example of this is today I made a post that I could have consolidated into a single one as seen here:
