cannot continue old chat

i am using conversekit with easysocial, a friend an i just discovered that a conversation that we two had was not possible to continue, the converskit just showed a spinning wheel as if it was loading, but forever.
we found out that we can still reconnect to the old conversation by starting a new conversation with the same person.

is there a way to fix this? because most of our users will just be confused. thanks
