This started when I tried to add a blog entry. (We've been rebuilding this website in j3.x and it has been a nightmare.) We were recently forced to upgrade from j3.1.5 to j3.2.2 (not a good upgrade) due to problems with another extension.

In the blog entry layout, a bunch of the settings on the right (category, published, dates, etc.) are all scrunched up. I can't set the category, so the new post is stuck in Uncategorized. I figured the problem probably had to do with the changes to TinyMCE that came with j3.2.2 (what a waste of time those changes are.....), and decided that the Easyblog probably needed an upgrade to address the j3.2.2 problems. (Ran into a similar situation with Roksprocket, except they didn't fix all the issues. grrrr!)

So, I backed up my com_easyblog directories (component & administrator) and then started the update. The updater says it wants my API key but the API key is already in the box and saved. Just in case I had the API key from my previous subscription, I logged into my account and copied the API key again. I still get the error message.

Bottom line, I need to be able to update the extension and, if this doesn't fix the blog entry layout problem, I need some help with that too. (Sorry to grumble so much about j3.2.2, TinyMCE and Rocket - it has not been a good month.)

Thanks!!
Deb
