Can Komento replace the built in comments in EasyBlog?

I am having problems with the built in commenting system in Easyblog in that users cannot comment when they are registered - They keep getting asked to sign in but when they do they are repeatedly asked to sign in.

I have purchased Komento, but not used it yet, and was wondering I f I could use this in place of the built in one?
