Call to a member function getType() on string when I open Events

Hi, after having upgraded to version 4.01 I get this error (Call to a member function getType() on string) when I try to open the link to the events page. Everything else works just fine but when I click on events, then I get a broken page with this error message. Any idea what I can do to solve this?
