Calculated Custom Fields

I'm still in the process of configuring Easy Social and I'm aiming for a fairly detailed Registration process. I'd like to know if it's possible to use the value in one custom field to populate another?

Specifically, users are required to paste a url. The structure of the url is consistent and I'd like to extract elements from the text string to fill other fields.

Eg url http://site.domain/results/?f1=0.50&f2=0.75&f3=0.611 would populate 3 custom fields with the values 0.5, 0.75 & 0.611

Is this possible? If it is...is it documented somewhere how? If it isn't is there a workaround that doesn't require manually filling in the fields?

thanks for thinking about it.
