Hello,
There seems to be some bugs around moderation processus after updating a Group, Page or Event made by an Administrator (not the owner).
Concretely when an administrator edits a group, a message indicates :
Your group has been updated successfully and it is pending approval from the site administrator.
The SuperAdministrator receives an email to accept or reject the update.
When the SuperAdministrator accepts the update, the Administrator of the Group receives an email.
And it is here that the first bug appears, the content of this email is the same as for the creation of a Group. This is not the good email.
Group Approved!
(...)
Your group XXX has been approved and you will be able to start inviting other friends to collaborate in the group.
And the second bug is that no Stream Item is generated on the Timeline of the Group, about this update.
XXX updated the group — 1 minute ago
On the other hand, if the moderation is not activated for the Groups, this Stream Item is well generated.
And, moreover, a Stream item is well generated after approval by the SuperAdministrator for the Creation of a new Group.
There is no Stream item when it is an Update of a Group (with moderation).
In short, these bugs concern the process when moderating a Group, a Page, and an Event
Update.
Thank you,
Philippe
