Blank screen when uploading com_easyblog_launcher_pro_5.0.17_joomla3.0

Dear all
I would like to upgrade the blog of a customer from v3 -> v5. but right after uploading the launcher component the admin part is working fine and the installation of the component goes soomthly. But when checking the (public) web page i get a blank page. :(
I tought it could be a rsfirewall (rsjoomla.com) issue, but after uninstalling the component i tried again to upgrade the component (one time via uploading it and ontime placing it in the /tmp folder) and i still get an blank page. in the public part.
This is quite strange tough as I upgraded several blog for some client´s from V3 -> V5 and it went ok.

Can you have a look as why I get a blank screen right after uploading the component?
