Best Way to Re-Install EasyBlog ... can't Uninstall from backend of Joomla

I need to re-install easyblog .... my database was copied back over and in the process corruption happened. I need to know the best way to re-install easyblog ...
It would be nice to not have to re-create all the blogs and all the pictures ....

Should I just make sure all easyblog modues / plugins are unpublished and then re-install over top of them or ...

should I go to myphpadmin and drop all tables associate w/ easyblog and then login to the backend of my joomla site and re-install easyblog ...
