Articles being imported from Blogger multiple times

I use a cron job to import articles from (see site details) this has been in place for several months and working great. Recently I updated to newest version of EB5 and Joomla 3.4.5 and now existing posts are being imported again and appearing twice also an e-mail is sent each time to subscribers. Posts are under category Mr. Z's Bobcat Update Blogger. I turned off the cron job that used to run every 15 minutes. Any ideas? See site details for more info.
