I am not sure why, but it seems that different applications appear under the 'Application' side bar when a user is on their news feed and when they are on their timeline. Shouldn't it just be the same. Which ever application the user has chosen to download, should be seen regardless of where they are. For example, if I want to access my 'Discussions' application, I have to go to my timeline to access it!
I am not sure why it was decided to do that but I don't think it makes much sense from a user point of view. All your applications should be available.
