Alphauserpoints Integration for EasySocial

Hello Forum Fellows,

Before our company bought EasySocial in last week, I did some research into how far the point system is in EasySocial and found that it is lacking functionality and integration with other Joomla extensions compared with Alphauserpoints. Furthermore, EasySocial doesn't come with an Alphauserpoints integration like the other StackIdeas Joomla extensions does, e.g. EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss.

I am sure that StackIdeas would have been able to develop the EasySocial points system much further, but their resources have been focusing on other developments. It also seems to that there are not any other Joomla developers who have taken the EasySocial point system on board. So it would be useful to have an integration between EasySocial and Alphauserpoints.

In our company, we are using Alphauserpoints for EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss and other Joomla extensions and our own customizations and developments based on Alphauserpoints. We would like to be able to have all the points from EasySocial integrated with Alphauserpoints so all points are showing up in EasySocial and Alphauserpoints.

I got the following feedback from Mark at StackIdeas; "Unfortunately at this point of time; we do not have integrations with AUP but because the points system in EasySocial is pretty centralized, it would be possible to hire someone to actually proxy the points' assignment in EasySocial to log them into AUP as well."

I would like to know if the Alphauserpoints integration for EasySocial is of interest for anyone here at the StackIdeas Forum? Please confirm your interest by adding your comments to this post.

Thank you for your time, :)

Finn
