Add a "mark as read" or "ask later" option to Friends request notification

It would be good to be able to mark all friend requests as read in the notification. Some people say they get friend requests and don't yet know the person so want to 'put them on hold' until a later date when they might meet that person. If you could mark a friend request as read or on hold, then it would stop appearing in the notification so you would better see new ones as they came in. You can of course always go to your friends list to see the outstanding requests.
