Hello,
i am using the Event module for easysocial with even "start date" as filter
and also in the user profile sidebar there is a "even coming soon" module
those 2 module don't show same results !!!
this happen with an event started in the past but still ongoing...
(in my case an even started july the 23th... still appear in Event module for easysocial but not in the sidebar module...)

That could be great to unified this
maybe by changing the filter in event module : "coming next" instead of "start date"
what do you think ?
