SectionEx is Joomla 3.0 Ready!

SectionEx is Joomla 3.0 Ready!

Just so you know, SectionEx is now compatible with websites that are using Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.0!

You can now have a beautifully organized Joomla website the way you have always wanted. SectionEx works like a site map or directory tree, where you can browse all your articles and categories in a listed format.

It has an easy-to-use and smooth interface for both front and back end.  Our designer came up with a new theme for SectionEx, it is called Default.

Thanks so much for making SectionEx 2.5 / 3.0 compatible.

I've got several sites that use this little gem, and I've been scratching my head trying to figure out what I would use in place of Section Ex when i get around to moving them to 3.0.

Thanks for making this available!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm rebuilding a site in 3.0 that used SectionEx for one (critical) page. I've been trying to find a replacement for the last three days, and now I don't have to figure out a workaround!

Thank you for this, perfect timing for site upgrade. I received a 'not commonly downloaded' warning from chrome, ignored it as this is first download compared to my many other stackideas product updates, just letting you know warning appeared.

How come SectionEx isn't included in the bundle purchase of everything else?

We haven't updated our bundles yet but we'll be updating them shortly :) If I am not wrong, there will be a new bundle as not everyone want's to use SectionEx.

Thanks Steve.

This is good. However, the Search feature does not appear to work on your demo. Is this by design? Also, I downloaded the free version and the search feature is missing. Is Search only for the paid version?

Rene, the search should actually work and it should also be included in the free version. Are you using the "default" theme?

Mark,

Curious! Is this new version of Section X the new product you mentioned in a recent blog post, or is there another completely new product?

Hi Mark,

I have a definite need for a documentation section on my website that SectionEx should fill, if the search will return results only from articles in the documentation section. I will open up a support ticket.

Thought I found what I was looking for...........but it creates a lot of errors on my Joomla 3.1 site.
Hope there will be an update soon.............

Does SecionEx work with EasyBlog component? I tried to create a menu item from SectionEx but it would only allow me to choose from Joomla's default categories.

  1. Mark

SectionEx doesn't pull categories from EasyBlog currently but why would you want to do that :p
