Limit Plan

Using Limit Plan app, admin can provide limited service on the basis of count, duration OR both, after that plan will not be visible to users.

Limit Plan plugin provide functionality to show the plan only for certain period of time(duration) OR for limited subscribers (count) after that plan will be unpublished.

Using this plugin admin can manage events with PayPlans. For example, admin creates a new plan with 50% flat discount. Admin also wishes to set offer limit for only the first 100 subscribers. After 100 users have subscribed, the plan will no longer be available for the visitors to subscribe.

Limit Plan App Feature :-

-> Limit Plan on the basis of Count.
-> Limit plan on the basis of specific Time Duration.
-> Limit Plan on the basis of both Count and specific Time Duration.

Configure this Plugin
Step 1 : Install Limit Plan plugin from the App-store.
Step 2 : Go to any PayPlans -> Plan sub-menu and open any existing plkan or create new plan.
Step 3 : On plan edit screen in Plan Advance Parameters section you will see some parameters as below screen-shot.

Step 4 : Admin can limit plan on the basis of subscription Count, specific Time Duration and both.

Cases and Scenarios in Limit Plan App

Case 1 : Limit Plan on the basis of Count

  • Total Limit : Set total number of Limit for Plan subscription, after this count Plan will no longer visible to visitors and get unpublished automatically. If you don’t want to limit plan on the basis of count then set it to 0.

  • Scheduled : If you don’t want to schedule this plan for specific time period then set this option to No.

Case 2 : Limit plan for Specific Time Duration

  • Scheduled : If you want to schedule plan for specific time period then set this option to Yes then Start Date and End Date field will be shown. While saving plan , it will get unpublished if it will not lie between date range.

  • Start Date : Plan will be shown from this date.

  • End Date : Plan will not shown after this date.

Case 3 : Limit Plan on the basis of count as well as Specific Duration

If you want to limit plan on the basis of count as well as particular time duration then set Limit count as well scheduled duration.
After setting Limit Count and Scheduled date, plan will be visible for specific duration and will get unpublish when limit count reached or duration finished. Total Count will be shown to Admin also : to know how many plan subscribed for this plan.

Points to be Noted

  • If nothing is set in Start Date and End Date then it will not work.

  • For proper working of this app don’t set Start Date and End Date date same.

  • When both parameters Start-Date and End-Date are set then Plan will be visible between these two dates. After End-Date date Plan will get unpublished automatically on cron execution.

  • When only Start-Date parameter is set, but End-Date is not set then plan will be visible after Start-Date and will not unpublished because End-Date is not set.

  • When Start-Date parameter is not set and only End-Date is set then after End-Date plan will get unpublished automatically on cron.

  • In this app, plan will get unpublished automatically on the basis of condition (Count or Duration). Admin can make plan published from back-end then plan will be visible to users.

  • This app, will not work with Renewal App when plan get unpublished.
