Grouping of Plans

This feature lets you bind similar types of plans under one group or category.

PayPlan Configuration -> Settings -> Feature : You need to enable the plan groups:

  • Yes: It will enable the plan groups to categorizes your plans. A tab “Groups” will become visible now.

  • No: It will disable all the plan groups

Groups Tab:Under this tab, you can create groups which will be able to contain different plans under it. By doing so, you can show certain categories of plans to your users. Hence, it's advantage for administrators because from now, their customers just need to select groups which contain similar types of plans.

Creating Groups:
CASE 1: Plans are already created. Note: It is mandatory that at least one plan exist already.

Follow the under-mentioned steps to create groups and include your plans in them.

  1. Move to groups tab and click on "New" button to create a new group.

  2. Here, enter the basic details required to create the group.

  3. Choose the parent of this newly created group. In case, you want to create a parent group, then don't select any parent for this new group.

  4. Enter the child plans for the group. These plans will be visible under this group on front-end.

  5. Click on "Save and Close".

On the front end, this functionality of groups can be viewed as:
1. Move to the "Subscribe" page and you will be able to see the groups you have created.

  1. Select the group category to view plans under it.

  2. More groups may appear on clicking on a group because you might have nested them in the parent group.

  3. You can simply select your desired plan and subscribe it.

CASE 2: Plans doesn't exist already.
Note: It is mandatory that at least one group exist already.
While creating plans, under the "Groups" field you can mention the groups under which you want to nest the plan.
Click on Save and Close to save your settings

On the front end, this functionality of groups can be viewed as:

  1. Move to the "Subscribe" page and you will be able to see the groups you have created.
  2. Select the group category to view plans under it.
  3. More groups may appear on clicking on a group because you might have nested them in the parent group.
  4. You can simply select your desired plan and subscribe it.
