So I have created a feature request at Yootheme.com to add support for EasyBlog 5 with Widgetkit 2. At this moment the new version of this software does not support EasyBlog 5 only: WordPress, Joomla, ZOO, K2, Woocommerce or Twitter. This has gone no where for several months.
As you can tell that causes a lot of management issues using a Yootheme's Widgetkit 2 with EasyBlog 5, the one good news is that it is possible to create a custom content provider.
I was wondering if it would be possible for StackIdeas to create a content provider plugin for Widgetkit 2, this is the URL from yootheme:
