Keeping Language changes during EasyBlog update?

I have changed some of the language in the EasyBlog language file eg changed blogger to author and so on. However when there is a new update for EasyBlog the language gets changed back to the original file. Is there anyway to stop that from happening? Or can I save the altered language file and replace after the update? Does the language file change much during updates? Thank you in advance for your response.
