Getting Foundry not found errors

If you have recently updated to EasySocial 4.0.5 and getting the error message "Class Foundry not found" is because in EasySocial 4.0.5, we have removed the class "Foundry" from the core since this class has been deprecated since 2018.

However, it seems like many extensions and third-party plugins are still relying on these old codes. If you encounter this error, follow the steps below to fix the issue.

Temporary Solution:

Please download the attached file and upload it into /administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/ and overwrite the easysocial.php file.

This is a temporary solution until we release 4.0.6.

Please do take some time to read through our documentation, https://stackideas.com/docs
