What are your plans for supporting ED4 once you publish ED5?
I am NOT at all convinced that I should migrate to ED5 based on the transition to a different style that is less "forum-like".
It may just make a lot more sense to keep using ED4 instead, especially now that I have spent a bunch of time on Custom CSS that improved the look and feel considerably IMO.
Also, is ED4 compatible with Joomla 4 at this point?
I'm basically trying to understand how long I should be able to use ED4 without issues and WITH support.
I'll happily pay for the annual license for ED4 and support.
It is all about "what fits best" for what I need and ED4 sure looks like a better approach than ED5 at this point.
