Blog Image viewable in Lightbox in Blog detail view

I dont know if the idea already exists somewhere here,

but my idea is the following:

when you click in blog listing view (where you can see all the blogposts in a categorie) on the blog image, it opens the blog post and you get the blog details view. The blog image is now been resized to use the full width or maximum heights of your settings. Thats awesome, but sometimes the image is still to small, it would be nice now, if you click again on that image, that it opens whatever you set to show your pictures.
like if i embed a second picture in a blog post somewhere, it opens it with lightbox or the diffrent types, which are selectable in easy blog settings. It would be nice if it would be also possible for the main blog image in blog detail view.
