I've set up an FAQs section on my website where users ask questions by selecting a category then posting their question. I want relevant groups to be notified via email when a new question is asked/reply is posted etc.
In EasyDicuss 'categories' - 'custom email address,' I selected the email I wished to be notified when a particular category of question was selected, but have tested it and no emails are being sent. I then changed this to a USER (ie without the @...) and it seemed to save, but again no email has been sent.
In 'Email Activities,' it says that the selected user email address was sent emails with each corresponding FAQ asked. But this is definitely not the case!

It may also be worth noting that this is not a problem with our global config settings, since other applications (EasyBlog, EasySocial) are sending email notifications.
Some extra info in case it's relevant: We have currently set up notifications to send on page load (and are awaiting cronjob to be set up, but we've managed to get EasyBlog etc working for page load so this shouldn't be the root of the problem either).
