First off I want to start by saying bravo to the "Permalink" feature in apps that allow the admin to choose the url/name. 
Currently it appears that the app id is included into the url when viewing the page. Here's an example: http://www.alpineascent.com/profile/107-test/57-article
But I have to ask, why not give the admin the ability to choose whether to include the id number? Perhaps "/57-article" could be the default for the permalink, but if the admin wanted to change it to "/article", they could (in theory). This would allow the apps to have as clean of url as possible with of course still giving the admins the choice of keeping the id if they didn't change the permalink. Attached is a screen shot of how it could work.
