How to disable JomSocial activity stream?

ResolvedHello! How does one stop backend edits (and in fact any EasyBlog activity) showing up in the JomSocial activity stream? I've turned off all activity notifications in the Settings yet whenever a backend edit is made the stream is updated with "Joe Bloggs made a new blog entry".
We are importing hundreds of articles from K2 and they need tidying up but I don't want this activity to show to our members and I don't want to keep having to delete activity entries as they appear.
Please help!

I am sorry for the delay of this reply. Okay, found the issue. You can patch this up by copying the file /administrator/components/com_easyblog/views/blog/tmpl/default_publishing.php over to your live site.-

Hi Mark, I spoke to soon!
It seems that even if all activity is disabled in the section you said, IF an article is already published then any edits made in the backend are still showing up on the JomSocial activity stream.
No activity seems to occur when edits are made to unpublished items. You may wish to try and replicate this.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I have highlighted a section in the settings, http://screencast.com/t/VWy4CJRKk . Is this option enabled? if it is, can you disable this? I have done some code lookup and once this option is disabled, it will not process any of the JomSocial activities in JomSocial.
