Now have many questions as to how to use.

1. How do i get the Social combine Blog and Discuss on one page or one one toolbar?

2. Do I need to assign the menu to one of the Social options? The documentation does not tell you about their functionality.

3. when on the dashboard, how one can get to publish a post or write on forum?

4. I dont understand at all about assigning modules within EasySocial! Does this mean a module say from Blog can be assigned on say dashboard? I am confused.

Ive managed to get a module on dashboard. This is to start a new blog. But the button, as you can see on pic is totally white and with white text you cant see anything.

Well that I also seem to have resolved as I have added other modules.

But, one thing I can not:
- I would like to have different registration processes for Forum users and Blog and Social (same for both). I know you can use JomSocial and EasySocial respectively
- I will need the approval of pending users under EasySocial, which I have set up
- I do not need prior approval of JomSocial uers
- but also I want to allow EasySocial users (who will be registered within EasySocial to have access to JomSocial, preferrably without the need to have to go through another user registration process.
- At the same time I do not want JomSocial registered users to have access to EasySocial dashboard

Does this make sense and is it possible?

Those who have access to Social+Blog (from Social dashboard) and also they should have access to Discuss in order to interact with the first group of users.

Hmm, sorry for confusing again.
1a. EasyBlog extension -> This is the whole Easyblog component and allow the user view all the blog post, comment in this component.
1b. Easydiscuss extension -> This is the whole Easydiscuss component and allow the user view all the discussion post, reply, like, answer in this component.

2a. Blog apps -> This is just a small blog apps for trigger the blog stream fetch to Easysocial, when the user click on the "new post" button, then it will redirect back to the Easyblog component creation page.
2b. Discuss apps -> This is just a small discuss apps for trigger the discussion stream fetch to Easysocial, when the user click on the "new post" button, then it will redirect back to the Easydiscuss component creation page.

By the way, I'm still unable to access in your Joomla backend, is it possible create another SuperAdmin account so that I can access smoothly.

It seems like I still can't access in your Joomla backend, I suspect that your site got firewall blocked our IP address or something else.
However, don't waste the time keep asking your access in your site now. If possible you can solve this login access that will be great for us.

Discuss shows in profile, but not in dashboard. Icons for Discuss and Blog are only clickable in Dashboard. Blog is there Discuss is not.

Hmm, I believed I not mistake because i copy and paste in your Joomla backend password field area. But do not know why can't access.
I have checked in our local, by default the discuss apps will not show in dashboard, it only show in the user profile.

As I said it works. Why dont you ask another admin try.

Screenshot shows them. Ones on the lest in side bar. Ok groups are not the same but apps and events are the same, so no need to have them at both places.

First you can disable the Event/Group filter from your backend > Easysocial > Themes > select your themes > Dashboard tab > Show Groups Filters and Show EventsFilters - NO

Regarding the application part, we do not have the setting for that, so you have to modify on this file

I have disabled Groups and Events.
But another issue is that in Dashboard I do not have Discuss in the applications therefore can not access to publish on forum, at the same time can do with Blogs.
But, in My Profile, I have both Discuss and Blogs, but as you will know what I can do is only see update on my activity but not access to publish.
Therefore, question is how do I get Discuss on my Dashboard (and it is installed in the Aps by the way - third picture).

Hello Vlad,

Some apps appears on the profile while some doesn't. Dashboard apps often allows you to perform actions while profile apps on the other hand is mostly used for displaying items within your profile. Think of dashboard like a dashboard where you "manage" your stuffs and profile is where someone else views your profile

By the way, if you still have other non related issues to this thread, can you kindly please start a new thread instead so that it would be easier for us to follow up?
