Hello. According to this topic https://stackideas.com/forums/how-does-black-list-blocked-users-works
Once a user block another user, all interaction such as conversation, stream and activities update will be invisible and even the user cannot access each others profile.

Can you please explain how does it works for Administrators and SuperUsers?

We noticed that regular user can't add Administrator and SuperUser to black list. Thats correct ?

But Administrator can add regular user to blacklist. For example Admin do it when don't want some user to PM with him.

But, after it Admin can't see this user on site (can't see his stream item, videos, photos etc).
So Admin can't check, moderate and delete user's content.

Expected result: If Admin block (add to black list) user1, user1 can't interact with admin and see his content. But Admin still should see everything.

Thanks.
Yes, regular member can't block site admin.

But, after it Admin can't see this user on site (can't see his stream item, videos, photos etc).
So Admin can't check, moderate and delete user's content.

Expected result: If Admin block (add to black list) user1, user1 can't interact with admin and see his content. But Admin still should see everything.

We will see if we can change this behavior in next version.

Hi there,

I have consult this with our developer, as they said, this is actually a default behavior for now.
Perhaps, you can create a new ticket under feature request for this, so that our developer can keep track the feature that can be implemented in the future release.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding

Hello. I get some reports from users about misunderstand some things. Example.
1) User1 blocked User2 (so they can’t see their comments)
2) user3 added video3.
3) user1 and user3 comment video3 (dialog)
Result: User2 can see only user3’s messages. He can’t understand what he talking about (there is no full dialog). He is confused.

Is it normal? Does blocking system work the same way on other social sites (Facebook for example)? Thanks.

I did tested on Facebook regarding this scenario, the user2 will never see the comment and all other thing which related with User1.

In other word, the current Easysocial block user behavior is same as Facebook.
