I just tested the "EasySocial Recent Polls" module. And while testing I found a small translation bug, but not sure how to handle that.

You can read the following "1 Stimmen" however thats not ok in the German language. If there is only one vote it must be written "1 Stimme" if there are n votes you can use "x Stimmen". [Keep noted that "0 Stimmen" is totally fine]

I think this could be caused because there is only one language string used for plural vs. singular. If that is the case a better translation would be: "1 Stimme(n)"

So not sure if your component can handle plural vs. singular and if "Stimme(n)" makes more sense here to it.
Hello,

You can change the string here: http://take.ms/154K9 in this file : ../language/de-DE/de-DE.com_easysocial.ini

hope this helps.

I know but when I perform an upgrade it will be overwritten. Since I started with Stackideas i reported more then 20 bugfixed and I would really prefer if we can add that to the core component as I run out of documentation options to keep track of all such "fixes"

Hi there,

You can do language override on those string by following steps here https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/languages/creating-language-overrides

It wont be override once update/upgrade are made on your site. Please give it a try and see how it goes

I would prefer a fix in the component rather then doing a language overwrite. If I do that I will end up in having multiple "custom" changes and the risk that an upgrade breaks serious parts is very high then.

Hi there,

Actually this translation workflow is depending on how each language translator translate it and update it to our transifex. In simple word we do not handle 100% translation in each languages as we not really sure the exact word to be used and thank you for your language issue reported
I've asked our marketer to change the language string to Stimme(n) and it will updated in the transifex in no time now
