May I know which icon you are referring to? Perhaps, some screenshot.

Any time an attachment is added It is a large icon with the filename file size and a button... I would like it to be a small icon that is 30px x 30px just to the right the filename that is a hyperlink that will open the attachment... No file size and not button... Possible???

Sort of like this but there is no need for different icons per attachment just a simple icon for all attachments:

Did you mean this icon? http://take.ms/pKi2p . If so, you can modify this file: ../components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/composer/blocks/handlers/file/preview.php . This modification will only works with the new created post. your current post will not be affected.
