Today, the team has put together maintenance update for EasySocial, EasyArticles and ConverseKit which addresses several teething issues and also updated it's integration with EasySocial. Read on to learn more.
EasySocial, EasyArticles & ConverseKit Updates
EasyArticles 1.0.4 contains mostly bug fixes, 2 new features which are enhanced security for cronjob key and improved editing workflow. ConverseKit 1.0.9 on the other hand has a newly added color button settings, improved compatibility with EasySocial 2.1, and for most parts bug fixes.
As a matter of fact, we just pushed EasySocial 2.1.2 update with new polling interval settings, option to show or hide profiles filter on listing page, quick posting app to render properly when viewing on mobile and the rest were also mostly bug fixes.
In addition to all these maintenance updates, works for EasyBlog 5.2 and PayPlans 3.7 has already begun. PayPlans will have tighter integration with EasySocial, a revamped administrator area and many other exciting goodies yet to be revealed in the coming days. To keep the ball rolling, 2 new plugins for PayPlans were added on our apps store too!
PayPlans Plugins
After taking over PayPlans for over a month, we received requests for the ability to monetize users on EasySocial. We thought that this would be a good start for the team to understand the architecture and behavior of PayPlans. With that in mind, we created 2 new plugins that allows you to monetize from users on your site by selling badges and points.
Points Plugin
With this plugin, you are able to create plans and associate plans with a given number of points in EasySocial. As soon as the user makes the purchase, their account will be credited with the points immediately. By integrating with PayPlans, it also takes advantage of the recurring subscriptions where users can also purchase points on a monthly basis.
