Seems like there is some issue with the cacert.pem that been updated lately. I've make temporary fix in your file:
.../administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/connector/adapters/cacert.pem
Can you give it another try?

For further checking on this, can you make sure you not close your FTP for now? so that we can apply any changes if there is needed
