Hello!
Last week we had a disastrous Joomla update (3.7.5 to 3.8.0) and although mostly fixed I seem to be left with an issue on EasySocial.

If I reinstalled EasySocial from the Joomla admin will that leave the content intact and repair the component?

Please feel free to have a look from the back end if you think that's relevant.

The community side is giving a 500 error if you click on the menu item, but I was able to successfully navigate to it via a reported comment in the back end. If I click through a blog author profile link in Easyblog, I get an odd formatting on the page (image attached) profiles are handled by EasySocial.
I had a look in the Chrome console and it showed Uncaught ReferenceError: EasySocial is not defined at 607-tgsjonathan:5938 (plus more, screen shot attached)

Thanks!
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've checked in your site, it seems like you hitting this memory limit issue, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 117 bytes) in .../libraries/joomla/language/language.php on line 796

Can you request with your webhosting provider to help you increase your PHP server memory_limit set to higher like 128 or 256M?

By the way, if you update Easysocial new version again on your site, it will not affect with your data from your database is because it just override all of your site Easysocial core file to be latest file.

In other word, if you have modify some of the Easysocial core file on your site, it will be affected, before you update Easysocial newest version, you have to backup all of your those modification files before only update.
