You can check out the Stackideas Toolbar module from the Joomla Module manager. By the way, may I know which item that you want to remove? Please kindly explain more so we can understand better.

Ahhh thank you. I looked everywhere for that darn toolbar!! Yes, I've seen the toolbar download/install popping up on all my sites, but didn't put 2 and 2 together to figure out that it had replaced the built-in toolbar.
