Hi there,
May i know whether you wanted to a new badge, that is non-existed on your current site? Which means, there are no command
http://take.ms/KmXRa existed on your site currently, you can follow my steps below on how to create a new badge on your site.
By the way, in order to duplicate the badges in EasySocial is quite tricky as it involving modifying the file itself in EasySocial. In addition each badges must have their own unique command that are associated with the frequency method of achieving badge,
http://take.ms/F1oOk . If you trying to duplicate the badge with the same command rules, the installation/duplication will not be successful. This is the correct behavior in EasySocial.
Note: Action command rule must be added to the core of EasySocial files hence it is not possible to actually use different command rule for the same action as the other badges.
This however is different when you set the achievement type by "points" instead of "frequency" where each badge can have similar action rules,
http://take.ms/OAmBF . Follow the steps below in order to install a similar duplicate badge:
1) Create your own .badge file. You can refer the same .badge file as an example from your /administrator/components/com_easysocial/defaults/badges/discussion.badge
2) Specify your own any custom "command" from the installation file so that the installation will be successful. To install the badge, simply follow the steps from the docs here,
https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/achievements/installing-achievements .
3) After the installation is successful, navigate to backend > easysocial > achievements, click and edit the newly added badge that you just install from step 2.
4) Change the "Achieve Type" to "By Points" and choose similar rules to achieve the badge with the same value as the badge that you are trying to duplicate.
Please give it a try and see how it goes
