I started a topic here 1 or 2 days ago and now it is deleted? Please do not delete this topic as i did PAY for Komento Pro (but my webdeveloper bought it; read further please).

My webmaster saw that my website was offline last week due to conflits of an older Komento version and my Joomla website. That's why he directly bought Komento Pro for me.

Your staff asked me to give the reference number of the purchase. I pasted it. Again, this is the reference: Order ID: SI170320-3595-23205. It is bought for my website: http://www.kijkenziefotoschool.nl

Since the update of Komento there are a few issues:

1). Can you move the license my webdeveloper bought to my forum login here so i can ask you for help?

2. I do not receive email notification when someone replies on my blog. Can you help me turn this on?

3. It seems that i lost all the ratings of my articles i built up? Can you help me restore them?

4. And people cannot rate my articles now? Can you help me to let people rate the articles with the stars again? Alex Wong replied and i followed his advise to put on 'display ratings' in the general settings tab and also the option 'display ratings' in the layout tab.

5. In the past people could leave a message directly under the article but now first the comments of others guest are displayed and then (lower) people can leave a message. Can this be turned around? I would like that people can leave a message directly under the end of the article and the comments of others guests can be displayed as low as possible.

6. My avatar does not show up (in the past you fixed it. I use dijkemajoris@gmail.com with gravatar).

I hope you can help me out as i payed for Komento Pro again.
Hello Joris,

Your post is not deleted, but I think there is some confusions here. You are currently logged in as a different user than the user that posted the question at https://stackideas.com/forums/webmaster-bought-and-installed-komento-for-me-no-notifications-for-new-blogposts-avatar

Since that post is private, you are unable to see that post. It was posted under your Joris D account while this post you have posted is under Joris.

As for the issues that you are facing above, can you please provide us with the back end and FTP access to look into this?

Hi Alex,

Thanks, i added the date to give you access.

Another little think i saw is that a guest does not have the oppertunity anymore to 'subscribe' to the topic to receive automation emails when i replied (i mean the checkbox option 'abonneer'. This is Dutch for 'subscribe').

Thanks!

Hey Joris,

I've help you enabled those setting from your backend Komento setting :
- Rating system
- subscription checkbox
- Integration with Gravatar avatar image

Can you give it a check again is it show correctly now?

By the way, I realised you do not have setup cronjob from your server, can you provide us with your Cpanel access which can setup cronjob from your server so we can help you setup on this so it will automatically send out those pending email to your site subscribers.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your help.

I have a few questions.

1) I see the stars which people can use to rate the article but it is not clear to people. It does not encourage them to rate the article and that's what i really would like. There is no text like 'rate this article with the stars' (Dutch: Beoordeel dit artikel met de sterren). Is it possible to add the text: Beoordeel dit artikel met de sterren? In the past the place of the stars was better. Now the stars are small and below the reaction box. For me, this is not an improvement.
2) The gravatar works, great!
3) The subscription checkbox appears but the text is in English. Can you change the text to Dutch: 'Abonneer me op dit artikel'?
4) At the end of the article i would like that people can directly ask their questions and do not have to scroll to the questions of others? Is that possible, to first show the reaction box and then below that the reactions of other people?

I really dont know what you mean with Cpanel and cronjob? I dont know anything about it. What is Cpanel? I gave you the FTP access right?

I can email my webdeveloper but i dont know what to ask him exactly?

I already made some text to display on the rating area and remove that "post comment as guest" section on the comment form.
JoomlaFolder/templates/uber/html/com_komento/ratings/form.php
JoomlaFolder/templates/uber/html/com_komento/form/default.php

3) The subscription checkbox appears but the text is in English. Can you change the text to Dutch: 'Abonneer me op dit artikel'?

I already added this language override into your Joomla backend, you can check my attached screenshot below.

4) At the end of the article i would like that people can directly ask their questions and do not have to scroll to the questions of others? Is that possible, to first show the reaction box and then below that the reactions of other people?

Unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this.

Cpanel access can allow user to access their database, file server, cronjob and other as well.
Cronjob is actually execute the script in certain time like task scheduler.

I asked my webdeveloper.

Do you know why i do not receive emails when someone posts a message on my blog? In the past i did receive a message. This has to do with Cpanel/Cronjob?

Thanks for the help with regard to the other points

I believe previously you have turn on this option "Send E-mails On Page Load" from backend, this setting when you turn on, it will automatically send out the email when someone load on your blog page.

For me I would not advise user to turn on this setting is because if your site is very active and a lot of user comment on your blog, it might affect with your site performance issue.

If you have setup cronjob from your server, so it will send out the email in certain minute like 5 minute send out 50 pending email notification, so it will not affect with your site performance issue.

And now, I already help you turn it on, you can check and see it will send out those pending email notification now, but you have to load your blog page.

I do receive notifications now.

What you have to know is use a different username to answer questions of guest on my blog. The username is Joris2. And normally (when i change or build the website in the backend i use the username Joris1).

This means that when i answer a question on the blog (using username Joris2) that i will receive an email notification of my own reply. And this every single time. In the past you turned this off for me. So when user Joris2 replies on the blog (that's me), i do not need to receive an email notification.

Can you help me please?

I've checked from your previous ticket, it seems like that is not possible configurable from backend, previously is my colleague help you hack on the php file to achieve this, you can refer on your previous thread there https://stackideas.com/forums/e-mail-notifications-of-my-own-messages-on-komento#reply-311180

By the way, I already applied the same fix into this following file -> JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_komento/includes/notification/notification.php

Can you try again and see how it goes?

Yes, but make sure you have enabled this "Notify Content author" setting from backend, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.
