It's possible to vote and create topics on EasyDiscuss but not too sure if it can mimic the entire workflow of uservoice though because with uservoice, your users are given a set of vote points and once their vote points are up, they will not be able to vote any longer. It's not possible to have such workflow in EasyDiscuss though.

I don't mind if users have "unlimited" votes as long as they cannot vote on a topic more than once that will work.

How well does ED integrate with ES (am I able to access documentation for ED to see if it supports the integration that I am looking for)?

If that's fine with you, it's okay I guess ED does have tons of integrations with EasySocial including avatars, points, badges streams and we also have an app that displays your discussions / replies on your profile. Take a look at http://stackideas.com/apps/item/6-easydiscuss

Is it at all possible to have ED setup with different views (where one view would be the forums/discussions the other the voting area? If yes how can I accomplish that?

I'm sorry but what did you mean by voting area? If you mean the page is only displayed voting area, it is not possible.

Sorry for not being clear in my reply.

I would like to use the extension for 2 purposes (see below), each one will operate independent of each-other (different setting, and different ACL rules). I know that I can accomplish some of the needs via categories), can I separate them so that if a user visits the forum they won't see the voting area?

Also if a user votes on a discussion, will it display a stream in their user profile (in ES), how about leaving a response, how will

1. Suggestion/feedback area (similar to uservoice).
   
2. Discussion area.
   

Please let me know if you need more information, or if I am better off going with a dedicated uservoice extension such as MijoVoice or RSFeedback? The reason that I'd prefer to use ED, is because i will have less extensions to manage, am I being lazy?

Hello Ck,

When a person votes on a discussion, it logs into EasySocial's stream and this is true if the user replies or creates a new discussion as well.
