I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. EasySocial doesn't have an "image" custom field but it has a "File" custom field which also allows users to upload images when editing their profile

It´s a pity that is not really what I need.

What do you think is the best way for me to realize an image-field?
Is it possible to overwrite the template/view?
Or maybe is it possible to dublicate the field-type "FILE", rename it to "IMAGE" and to edit the template/view?
If so - which files do I need edit/dublicate? Is a "custom-field" a plugin?
