I tried to update to the new version with the full package and I got this message: Initializing Foundry Framework Failed
" Unable to extract foundry.zip file. Please contact support. "

I installed on non supported domain of the school and sportsclub of my kids

it looks like the new backend interface from 5.1.6 but i guess it worx not correct.

best regards

Hello Elias,

Based on your error message, it seems like the installation / upgrade process some how did not get completed. Can you please follow the guide as outlined on https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/upgrades/updating-easyblog-via-full-installer ?

Hi Elias,

Seems like our IP(Malaysia) has been blocked to access your site (backend and frontend): https://www.screencast.com/t/m6d7TvpZo
Can you temporary unblock Malaysia IP.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Dear Fadhli,

i dont know exactly why, but it seems that everythig worx now with 5.1.7 on the non supported domains too.
for the future:
the updating for non supported domains via upload to ftp is not neccessary in the future?
it worx with uploading of the full package via joomla installer? correct?

best regards

Hello Elias,

If you are installing on a non supported domain, you only need to download the full installer and upload it via Extensions Manager. No FTP is required.
