unpublishing a module - which one?

At the moment, my site has a box [shaded gray] with one item- Forums.

Right below it is a navigation module [top and bottom of the page]
I want to unpublish the gray box. The problem is that I have no idea what it is called. I can't find any place on the web that shows the modules.

Can you delete that gray box with the single entry "Forums" so the navigation bar is the only way to connect to the different forums?

Also, is there a site or resource that shows what each module and plugin looks like?

You can un-publish them at Backend>Components>EasyDiscuss>Settings>Layout>Toolbar and disabled "Display Toolbar" as shown https://screencast.com/t/ECZnjt77l2. By the way, i have disabled them for you.

I've tried to follow your directions but haven's been successful.

The gray box is gone from the top of the page, but the one at the bottom of the page remains.

What do I have to do tp remove the box from the bottom of the screen?

Hi there,

Those prompted steps above are specifically for toolbar layout. and In order for you to remove those grey box on the bottoms of the screen, you can go to Backend>Extension>Module and search for "EasyDiscuss-Toolbar" module. By the way, i have disabled them for you. It should not shown on your front end now. Please give it a check and see how it goes
